3D video 10×20 Trade Show LED Wall SupplySide West 23
3D illusion video turns head at SupplySide West in Las Vegas
How do you transform a small 10’x20′ space into an eye-catching trade show booth?
This was the challenge brought to us a few weeks prior to the SupplySide West show by agency PepperGroup and exhibitor Kensing, LLC a leading manufacturer of natural vitamin E, plant sterols and high-purity surfactants.
For 2 years, we have been successfully supporting Kensing’s participation at US and European conferences using led video wall booths: in New York for NYSCC, in Paris and Barcelona for InCosmetics, in Geneva and Frankfurt for FiEurope. However, this time we had to work with a much smaller 10’x20′ inline booth but we knew we could harvest the power of LED video wall technology by adding a short and unique 3D Video animation.
How did we do it?
#1 BUILD a High Res 20′ Trade Show LED Video wall
Thanks to our Las Vegas partner, we built the 20’x8′ LED Video backwall using 48 high resolution P2.6 LED tiles shipped from local warehouse. As per Jurisdiction and Labor rules at the Mandalay Bay Convention center, we used a combination of union electricians and teamsters along with our expert local LED Tech crew. Local delivery and minimal travel expenses for a budget-friendly booth.
#2 Showcase curated Marketing contents Video.
Our client and agency partner Pepper Group Agency put together another carefully curated marketing video that loops for 2 mins promoting the Kensing brand and the benefits of its products.
#3 a REVEAL with 3D Forced Perspective clip.
Our 3D team created a short storyboard based on original idea of a 3D heart (credit to Kensing CMO M. Sarris) appearing in a reveal effect as doors open and pills are gradually replaced by soy leaf particles.
This kind of 3D animation is known as anamorphic illusion or forced perspective. It’s a trick of perspective that fools the brain into seeing 2D objects in 3D.
#4 The RESULTS?
Client and visitors loved it! This small addition created a BIG IMPACT by driving engagement and allowing more conversations and contacts.
SupplySide West brought together more than 17,000 ingredient buyers and suppliers from the dietary supplement, beverage, functional food, personal care and sports nutrition industries. This event is all about the science and strategy around developing finished products that drive the global business economy.
